I'm not surprised. We have got lots of billionaires of yoruba extraction globally. Something is synonymous with them, which is why some people think they're richer than most of our people and that thing is humility. We don't play to the gallery. An empty barrel makes the loudest voice. 27 Likes 1 Share |

All these nouveaux riche who spring up from nowhere and start upturning the carpets. Past experiences have made people like these the wrongest choice for inspiration. An airline company that technically only exists on paper with no flight experience or pilots acquiring 50 Airbus planes at once. Quite ludicrous. This may be the fire behind Air Peace's smoke. While I wish him well, one thing is certain; he can never be an Allen Onyema. The sky is too wide for two planes to fly. Air Peace we know. Air Peace we love. 49 Likes 5 Shares |

Never heard of the company before. 50 air buses at a time is huge. Hope he isn't a front for some dirty, money -laundering policians. Congratulations to him and his company nonetheless. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Placing order in is different from buying ..there is no way you can buy 50 brand Airbus outright and put it in the Nigerian domestic market except he plans them for another ..A220 is a short haul sub regional jet suited for domestic operations and I don't see how you can recoup such an investment in Nigeria .. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Great! As expected, piggiidddiotts led by Nwaamaipig have started arriving to display crass, undisguised and pathetic inferiority complex by trying to measure up to Yorubas Yorubas set the standard for their existence. What a shame! Expecting MelesZenapig to take a break from trying to wish Amotekun away and come and lend his/her voice to the inferiority complex display show by fellow piggiidddiootts. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Commentor: I have seen someone mention his order in an international aviation forum and a lot of experts laughed at how an unknown airline with zero hours of flights , no pilots , no structure no AOC could put in an order from 100 new planes . People were if the opinion it's was a money laundering scheme or just a mischievous stunt ..I have checked with my Sources at the NCAA and he still hasn't applied for an AOC ..A new airline will be coming this year and it belongs to a Buhari govt minted billionaire who i can't mention his name here , they just concluded the purchase of 4 brand new aircrafts and their AOC will soon be ready ..4 aircraft is realistic , if you start a new airline with 50 aircraft you must fail 16 Likes 1 Share |

I'm not surprised at all. Babawande is a very intelligent fellow with a strong passion for the airline industry. It has long been his long-held dream to build a “world-class airline” and I commend his entrepreneurial boldness and strategic foresight to set the pace in the industry. He's been on the project for about 6 years now and I'm so happy for him. Green Africa is definitely destined for greatness due to it's strong architecture. The çompany is “anchored” by two former American Airlines executives – chairman and CEO Tom Horton and CCO Virasb Vahidi – as well as William Shaw, founder and former CEO of VivaColombia. Airbus has also confirmed the record deal; https://www.airbus.com/newsroom/press-releases/en/2020/02/airbus-and-green-africa-announce-strategic-partnership-with-mou-for-50-a220s.html Congratulations Nigeria! Congratulations Africa! 11 Likes 2 Shares |
