Am working on a Volkswagen car Passat FSI 2006 model.
The car will run and drive for some distance and goes off and will not start again unless you remove the fuel hose and plug it again then the car will start again and move. And when I scan it I got a code P2293. Is this mechanical or electrical problem because I have changed a new fuel pump to the car and it continues. Pls any suggestions.

Fuel pressure regulator

which of the fuel pumps did you change?
the high pressure fuel pump or the low pressure fuel pump.

alot of things can cause this problem, check youfuel filters, fuel sensors and wiring.

you ve got to check your fuel lines leaks and obstruction.
the p2293 code is generic problem.
