Chelsea fears that N'Golo Kante could miss a very serious part of the season after suffering an abductor injury.
A scan has revealed that Kante who limped off after just 10 minutes in the 2-0 defeat by Manchester United on Monday night will be out for over 3 weeks as he suffers a tear.
Kante is now out to miss the important games against Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Liverpool. This now leaves Lampard with the option of playing Ross Barkley, Mount, Kovacic or other options in the midfield position. Well, not a very serious issue for Lampard as he has a lot of player options in that position.
However, this is the latest in the series of injuries for the French international and former Leceister City midfielder this season during which has been a frustrating campaign for the 28-year old. Kante has managed only just 17 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea so far this season, thereby missing nine Premier League games because of various issues.
For the Chelsea midfield enforcer, we wish him a speedy recovery as we desire to see him back into the team sooner.
