One day, this nation will be great again.
I'm seeing Confederated Nigeria...
I know of one major advantage; competitiveness among the states, thereby, enforcing speedy growth.
On the other side, the major con is In the fact that Aristocratic style of government will be built in so many states of the nation (Africans way) again and thereby, draw them 106 years back...
Confederal System of government, Good or Bad?

Fiscal federalism is not good.
Ir is not better. No.
It is the best for our multi-ethnic nationalities forcefully joined together by Luggard.
Barawo bubu promised that in 2011 but has failed to deliver as he has failed on every other promise.
Failure then, failure now, failure always.

I guess it is meant for the so called minority that we usually overlook in the grand scheme of things.I believe it is this group that will rubbish the government's efforts if not properly educated in the language that they perfectly understand.
Or don't you think so?

Ekiti seems to be making some noticeable improvement since this present government took over. Especially in the sociological aspects of the state. There has been some obvious humanitarian development like gender rights promotion and the introduction of thr sex offenders register.

There has been more awareness on environmental cleanliness, anti-open defecation and improved interest in youth activities by the government.

I give kudos to the fayemi government for this.

Translating laws to local dialect is also sign of a government that cares.

But a lot is still left to be desired, the infrastructural decay that has plagued several states in the country has also affected Ekiti and the concern of Fayemi administration is not on par.

A lot of interstate roads in Ekiti are nothing to write home about for example.

Na so, Ekiti has the best road network in the south west. Fayose was responsible for most.

Best road network? You have to be kidding.

Have you seen Erio-Aramoko road? Ado-Akure road? Both roads are completely destroyed.

Ado-akure, sounds like FG road to me. There are bad spots but Ekiti roads are really good relative to others

Sincerely speaking, one of the ways indigenous languages have been cheated is a constitution written in English without a corresponding translations into individual languages. There's no way you'd better understand a language that is not your mother-tongue and as much as Nigerians like priding themselves as users of English language, we're still L2 users. I'd even appreciate it if we have the entire constitution translated into indigenous languages.
