The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has hinted that it would display the personal particulars, including academic qualifications of all the candidates contesting for for the Edo and Ondo governorship elections. It disclosed that this will afford the citizens the opportunity to scrutinise the particulars of the candidates and take legal actions against those who present false information to the Commission. Nice one! This should be a welcome development given the controversies certificates have generated in our electoral process.No hiding place for any certificate forger any more. |

This will have little effect. Most politicians will just present their FSLC and leave the rest. I don't think anyone needs to forge their FSLC. |
