I really don't know of the case being statute barred. If not, if he is found guilty he and the Governor should be booted out, simple. 1 Like |

codedguy1:The Constitution says that any pre-election matter must be brought before it on or before 14 days after the cause of action (in this case, the submission of the name of the Dep Gov to INEC), and same case must be exhausted on or before 180 days at the trial court. This particular case was brought in after 14 days of the course of action, hence statute-barred. Without the legal gymnastics, the document is legit fake. |

fergie001:Its not yet an appeal na.if he filed within 21 days and then with new evidence on ground,he seeks the leave of the court to amend his petition or add new facts, why not but its at the courts discretion |
Re: NYSC Fake Certificate: Fresh Petition Hits Tribunal Against Bayelsa Deputy Gov by seborrhic: 7:46pm On Feb 21, 2020 |
Is it illiteracy or sheer st udity or the petitioner trying to get some easy cash from the APC candidate for him not to know that if his petition is even true, aside being time bound, the deputy governor is now immune from prosecution once it's a pre election matter the day he was sworn in? Some people's foolishness came with special anointing. 1 Like 2 Shares |

seborrhic:He is not immune from any election case. Infact i think with the declaration of diri,a new window of petition can be legally opened.a new 21 days can be counted from the 13th when he was declared till august.even if it ends by may,the peritioners can still prove their case before then.lawyers what do you think ejimatic, zoedew etc |
