Kalidou Koulibaly is still not joining his mates train regularly with Napoli, so it is possible he will miss both games with Brescia and most importantly with Barcelona.

With a serious thigh strain on 15th December last year, the Senegal international has been struggling, only returning for one appearance against Lecce on February 9.

Gennaro Gattuso confirmed that the defender is still not fully recovered as he looked very rusty and was left out of the squad for the club’s match against Cagliari.

Koulibaly did not train yesterday either and is not expected to be in with the group today, according to Sky Sport Italia

It means he’ll miss the Serie A match with Brescia which will be played today and most importantly that of next week’s Champions League Round of 16 ties with Barcelona as well.

Gennaro Gattuso will be left with no other option than to partner Kostas Manolas and Nikola Maksimovic.
