If I had time I will create a real news agency. REAL

The amount of sly and misleading headlines are too much!

There is absolutely no correlation in this article between Private Military Contractors and DHQ. That there is increasing interest from global security firms at the strong business opportunity to invest in an unsecured Nigeria doesn't prove DHQ is under pressure

Rather, it is an article meant to pressure DHQ into considering Private Military Contractors for security ops

Executing a war is never cheap... Each bomb dropped from a fighter jet could cost up to 18, 000 euros that about #7,087,992.6 by 8 sometimes you may fire 8 on just one trip only to kill 20 or 40 militant

U can't win any war without mercineries. Conventional troops are like public schools as compared to private schools.

Moreover, most of our troops are hustling by giving terrorists technical info as exchange for cash.

US has lots of private contractors in Iraq, afganistan,Syria. Russia likewise have them in Syria.Iran have them in Iraq and middle East.
Re: Presidency, Defence Headquarters Under Pressure To Hire Military Contractors by oyeb15: 9:16pm On Feb 23, 2020
Our government should license indigenous Private military firms as a means of creating employment.
People make money in Russia , Libya,Mali ,Sudan , America etc by fighting wars as mercineries.

They should hire the mercenaries, abeg.
They should even make them them COAS and Chief of Air defence.
Its better than the current clueless ones thta tell us removing them will not defeat Boko Haram or that the Army needs spiritual intervention to defeat Bandits!
Those one can go and form bodygurad for Buhari, since that is why he is still keeping them

Policy summersault .. Jonathan used them, Buhari came in and fired them, now Buhari wants to rehire them ... if Buhari had not sent them packing and allowed them to do proper mop up exercise of the battle of insurgency during the postponement of 2015 general election their based would have being fully cleared, weapon seized and chances of regrouping extremely hard, shameless Jonathan waited till 3weeks of losing office to seek the right help because of politics, Buhari came in and because of same politics cleared the right initiatives

We need to understand that we should stop repeling bokoharam or bandits (chasing them back into the woods), we should have a full scale operation to fight them till the last one of them drop dead, in a case that we now know the Army is compromised paying mercenaries like the US does is our best bet, with mercenaries we don't risk ban or noise from Amnesty International

.

Its NEVER going to happen!

- Its big business for the top heirachy of the military, some of them spend more time dealing in dry fish and ammunition trade with Boko haram, than fighting the terrorists
- Buhari sees the fight against them, even when they behead our soldiers, as a fight against the North. he undermines the effort
- Buhari is not intersted in the war ending, he is a shareholder in the arms business
- It is an avenue to perpetuate the Fulanisation agnda, bringing-n fulani terrorists from all over West africa, to come and claim land in Nigeria, one of the things America saw and decided it wont allow "Nigerians" to come setlle in US.

All this action and No movement is just a distraction to buy more time, by buhari

Re: Presidency, Defence Headquarters Under Pressure To Hire Military Contractors by Str8talk21: 11:07pm On Feb 23, 2020
The short and long story of this is simply the Fulani-led Nigerian military is bereft of intelligence personnel & information, devoid of manpower and hardware to prosecute this war.
We have all along been living in fool's paradise believing that we can win a war with an army mostly populated by stack nonentities & imbeciles of Northern Muslim stock whom by privilege of ethnicity are promoted to higher ranks in various security agencies without merit while other tribes of mainly Christian stock are made to go through difficult stages in the force with longer years before being promoted or summarily retirement to favor a less competent Northern Muslim security personnel.
Now, the chicken has come home to roost.

Special operatives always operate with precision. I doubt there will be civilian casualties, unless the civilian hinders their operations or jeopardises their lives by informing on them.

As to empathy, that won't even apply here. It's a job. A contract to remove a particular target. They'll operate like a surgeon who is tasked with the removal of cancer cells in the body. Cold blooded precision. That's all.

If you have watched enough covert ops films you will know that those foreign contractors you hire to fight kidnapping will sponsor kidnappers on the side so you keep paying them........ forever
