But this was a lost battle
He stabbed himself.
He was plain stupid.
The plan didn't work out
He wasn't dead but he didn't wake from this fascinating nightmare
But he sure did feel pains

There was only one action you took that in dreams that corellate with reality

Yeah, he peed.

He did woke up..... It was truly a fascinating creepy nightmare.
