It is actually funny that banned okada cannot have accident lol! A statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotoso disclosed that data from the State Police Command confirmed that Okada-rider accidents reduced from 19 in January 2020 before the restriction order to one between February 1st and 20th. 19 Likes 1 Share |

It is normal. When it was banned in Abuja city centre years ago the emergency wards of the general hospitals became decongested. 104 Likes 11 Shares |

I still entered Okada from Iyana Ipaja to Oshodi yesterday morning. Journey of two one hour with traffic reduced to 10minutes. That's the essence. 19 Likes 1 Share |

I'm totally fine with the restriction of Keke. Okada has numerous advantages most especially here in Lagos I think the likes of Max ride, O ride, Gokada etc... should be allowed to operate with special tags for individual bikes to allow for easy identification in case one messes up on the road. Our roads are constructed to accommodate both bikes and cars and not Keke. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Some people may not want to hear this, because they are pained and sauced with negativities. It takes a courageous leadership to do what is necessary, even when thesame people he's trying to protect and serve are lambasting him. 12 Likes 1 Share |

"The Lagos State Government has affirmed that there has been a massive drop in the rate of fatal accidents involving commercial motorcycles". Lol. It's like saying there has been no plane crash since the ban on airplanes. A no brainer. I don't understand this government's specific kind of stupidity but I do admire their total commitment to it. 30 Likes 1 Share |

budaatum: Neurotika: Okada is NOT banned... Okada is restricted from 6 LGAs (16 LCDAs) out of 37 LGAs (57 LCDAs) in Lagos State.... That there's been such a SIGNIFICANT effect (far more than simply a proportional result) validates the policy! > 15 Likes |
