How long have we been asking you Biafrans to mind your own business, leave Yorubas alone and keep a watchful eye on events in your backward? Go through my post and you will see I warned Igbos that this will be your downfall. I.e obsessing about the affair of others while your own leaders misrule your region with zero scrutiny of their misrule by Igbos too distracted cursing and watching Yorubas. When we tell you your leaders are worst and most callous in Nigeria una no gree. To beef Yorubas, even as your home is burning, is your preference. Now Governor Umahi is busy shouting against regional security, on behalf of his Fulani masters. Yet it is Yorubas you lot will come and attack daily here as "betrayers" and "cowards" or "Fulani slaves". Well the Chicken has come home to roost for Igbos like the OP. Let us just hope Yorubas are awake to the notion of keeping refugees, mainly those who cannot task their leaders to do the right thing, out of the SW when security breaks down totally and these bloodthirsty and fundamentalist marauders become ready to lay full seige on Nigeria with the SW being the only secure region of the Country. 5 Likes |

politicians are politicians everywhere, people have to push them to work, if you don't collectively make demands they would continue doing what they like, Umahi's press release after the NEC meeting shows he doesn't care if people get killed by herdmen so long he enjoys favour from buhari Anyways I have a message for the scumbag , we don't need umahi's approval to have regional police, neither does Fulani mans concern matter to us, so long we follow the constituition to the last dot nobody can stop us . |

Nuzo1: Some good points. Yet it is not too late for Igbos like you to hold your leaders and fellow Igbos to account. I always find Igbo hatred of Yorubas amusing because it is misguided and myopic. Whatever the problem of Yorubas, you can never convene our youths to carry guns and knives to be butchering other Nigerians in the name of religion. Yorubas will never create terrorist groups to attack and kill other Nigerians in cold bloood. Everything we do is to protect our people and our freedom to live as we want in Nigeria. Yorubas are the most accommodating and least problematic of the major ethnic group because of how we fundamentally believe in live and let live be it over religion, women's right, freedom of association or even accommodation of others. If Igbos spent 10% of the energy they use to obsess over Yoruba matters on their own misrulers then many will appreciate the SE has much work to do and that the region is lagging behind horribly in terms of the big challenges facing Nigeria today. 6 Likes |

MelesZenawi: Even those that are new to nairaland knows you're not Igbo. You are a spy claiming to be from Anambra. Anambra people are reasonable, they don't reason the way you do. Obiano bu ezigbo onye kai-kai nooro one ya. Tugbuo onwe ya n'ujo. He is no better than the crying, female governor of Enugu state and neither is he better than the fat-pot-bellied incompetence personified governor of Abia and the other confused governors. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Okoroawusa: Sure. Abaribe is an opportunist just like most Nigerian politicians. The difference between him and other Igbo politicians is that just like other sectional politicians like Tinubu and buhari; he works and aligns with the people's to achieve his own goal. He is far better. As for Nnamdi Kanu, people like him thrive where there's injustice. It doesn't even matter if he is a terrorist, rascal or freedom fighter. 2 Likes |

Nuzo1: Sentimental discussion is when others tell you Igbos the truth about yourselves you can't deal with? You are not sentimental comparing Kalu to Tinubu, as you did, as if both should ever be spoken of in the same sentence? Who, if not Igbos, were running around gleefully saying Amotekun cannot stand because of early brouhaha from the the AGF Malami? Is security of lives and property something any sane person should play politics or tribalism with? Yet Igbos still did. Bruv na you I suppose tell sey 'enjoy'. |

7lives: Indeed. Yet you can trust Igbos never to give credit where due. Yorubas they insult somehow manage to gain decent leaders, by Nigerian standards, while the supermen from the South East have the worst and most disgraceful leaders in Nigeria. When every intelligent person know that people get the leaders they deserve then it is ignorant or Mischievous to pretend that Yorubas have nothing to do with how their leaders are far superior to that of Igbos as the person you responded to is doing. 1 Like |

PicLtd: Yes OO. Like being a Nigerian Senator while also standing as bail surety for a secessionist who insults the Country Abaribe swore to serve and have allegiance to ? Una see any prominent Nigerian Yoruba politician, currently in Nigerian office, associate with Sowore after he was jailed for his call of revolution? You Igbos will always have problem calling a spade a spade. You will canonize and deify flawed men, like this unscrupulous Abaribe, yet disparage the leaders of others who are miles better than yours. This is why you can now feign shock at how terrible and cowardly your leaders are when you got them where they are today, turning a blind eye to their worthlessness, while spending all your time Insulting the leaders of others. |
