Abacha currently has a stadium named after him in kano.

Someone that should have been exiled along with his corrupt family.

This slowpoke are even to be thankful that US wants to give us back the money. How many Nigerians are holding onto debtors money? If the money was in China account, you think chinko would happily give you one kobo. Let Buhari account for the ones they gave in when he enter president. See the lagos -ibadan expressway he again listed as project they would want to use the money for, does he think those us government are draft like him, how many years have they contracted the same project ov and over again.

Enough of all this talk talk on Abacha loot. After release, what will be the impacts on the down trodden of the country. Before it even get to Nigeria, the sharing formula has been established. It belongs to a certain region. That is their belief.

Like abacha like jonathan, both got sanctioned heavily for not kissing Americas ass, Abacha tried playing smart by landering money through US virgin island to buy things Nigeria requires but couldn't get in open market, soon he was killed and the money confisticated and owned by US,

Jonadunce also played stuborn with US on gay right and they sanctioned him, his attempt to buy guns from south africa using raw cash and a private jet failed, money got seized and he got booted out

The sweetest part is that US would always go scot free with many imbesciles willing to support Americans even if they call us monkeys in a shithole

Buhari that we call dullard quickly settled trump by buying some shitty propeller driven plane at $41m a peice ripping us off to beg trump

.
Dis one is justifying abacha loot...

Bihari govt needs to invite bagudu to the table, compel him to drop every intent to use the UK court judgement as condition to stall the repatriation of this fund.
Of course, the US government has to be carried along as a witness.
Any move contrary to this agreement might just as well signal the end to our endless Abacha-loot alert.

But abacha get mind sha..

A US that lied to the world about Iraq having WMDs and invading a country resulting in hundreds of thousands, possibly millions killed and global terror being unleashed is now moralizing about what WE, a sovereign nation, does with OUR money ?
Trump or his admin is the world's moral authority? On financial matters ? All the while saying Iraq should "repay" America in oil for the Americans invading, unprovoked ?
Using Trump's vernacular, bullshite, Nyet, non, bollocks, nein. Pick any.
America should return our money, no strings attached. How we use it is our concern. All politics is local, at least that's how the populists want us to see the new normal. Dueterte told the US to get lost with their military cooperation agreement and Trump praised him. Buhari should call the US out.
As for corruption, the US leads the world by many orders of magnitude. The private military contracts the Pentagon alone doles out with ZERO auditing and accountability is the size of Nigeria's annual budget.

What is the point of sending back the loot since it's going to be looted again by our politicians

Money from Thief Abacha to Thief Buhari

If someone burgles your house and hid some of the items in another man's house and the thief was caught and the items he stole were traced to the numerous houses of others, if you approach the landlord of the house in which your property is hidden, would you be happy if he says no? It is simple. Trump is not going to release that money. And judging from his history and character, he is going to share that money with his loyalists in the DOJ and White House.

Is the money shared equally among Nigerians? Or among a previlleges few?

The point is this. The US has no right, morally or legally to dictate how much it's going to release of our money. Can any other country try that with them? Trump is not going to release even a dime because he is a greedy, self serving, selfish and morally bankrupt person.

We don't have to be pessimistic about how the fund is to be used. The point is that the US is wrong. Period.

One common features of Nigerian paid articles is that, they are stupidly long. Then full of gibberish.

Rubbish, God bless United States, if not for them, the fund would have gone down the drain, accounted for.

And our leaders have no right to squander funds meant for the masses without any penalty. At least they should be jailed
