How Ogah Was Used By PDP To Stop APC And Dislodge Dr. Alex Otti, Group Allege by chuksahamefule: 3:44pm On Mar 04, 2020
Following the recent revelations by Prince Benjamin Apugo on how the minister of state for solid minerals Dr. Uche Ogah sold the brightest chances of taking over the reigns of the state by the All Progressives Congress, one would have expected that rather than insult Prince BB Apugo for speaking the minds of most Abians, Ogah should have attempted an answer to the issues raised, in as much as we also know that he has no explanation to give because all his actions were followed and we will still unveil more of his fraudulent political activities during the 2019 elections, we are not surprised that instead of Dr. Ogah to be humble enough and apologize to Abians for his fraudulent and disgraceful 2019 governorship outing, his slave boys chose to use heap insults on notable and decent Abians with good intentions, we found it most laughable that one “Great Imo Jonathan” who Ogah is owing over 24 months salary and is virtually hanging around Ogah’s Abuja office while squatting in people’s houses has the guts to come on social media to insult Oparaukwu Ibeku by comparing Prince Apugo’s political height to Ogah’s political 2015 and 2019 misadventure.

Just in case you do not know, Uche Ogah was still in primary school in Onuaku when Prince BB Apugo was the Deputy state chairman NPN and later became the state Chairman of the party.

Accepted that you and your master Ogah are poor students of history, let us remind you that in 1992 under the defunct NRC, Prince BB Apugo sponsored and was instrumental to Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu contesting and winning the governorship seat of Abia, he also single handedly sponsored and installed all the house of Assembly members then under the party.

Prince Apugo under the PDP was a member of the BoT, a position reserved for party men with integrity and experience and not subsidy fraudsters, as a man of principle and integrity, even as a member of the PDP BoT, Prince Benjamin Apugo, right before the then President Jonathan voted against him at the national congress of the party on grounds of principle for going against the party’s agreement, he had also contested for the PDP national chairmanship where he gave a serious fight if not for superior party interest that weighed against his interest.

Prince BB Apugo remains the only Abian who is a member of the APC BoT and member of the party’s caucus.

These political facts are verifiable and that was why everybody who is interested in running for any political office both at the federal and state level comes to Prince Apugo’s home in Ibeku to pay homage.

Prince Apugo was also a very successful business man with vast business interest in oil and gas, produce, haulage and real estate, under Don Etiebet as Nigeria’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in 1993 to 1995 Prince Apugo was given oil lifting license, he also ran the famous BB Apugo Transport which specializes in haulage with a huge number of heavy duty trucks in its fleet, his produce ware housing was the biggest in the entire south east and South South that attracted patronage across the entire stretch of West Africa.

This brief narrative will explain to you that Prince BB Apugo is not only a successful and influential politician but a very successful business man.

If you recall what happened during the APC party primary elections Uche Ogah did not make any useful impact but rather went to Abuja to purchase the party’s ticket rather than campaigning and warming himself into winning the votes of the party members, while the likes of Martin Apugo who contested the 2019 election ran his primary elections and won convincingly if not that Uche Ogah compromised the general outcome of the 2019 election, Martin Apugo won the election convincingly and also proceeded up to the appeal court in an effort to reclaim his mandate, he also hired one of the best lawyers in Nigeria Chief lateef fagbemi (SAN) as his lead counsel, it was very clear and evident APC won Umuahia North, Ikwuano and Umuahia South.

Uche Ogah need to explain to Abians why he personally changed all the party agents even when other candidates were insisting on being allowed to use their trusted people to monitor their votes, but he insisted and close to the polling date changed all the agents only for us to realize later that he used those who are under instructions to yield to PDP’s demands.

Can someone ask Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah why he refused to fund his lawyer Barrister Chionye and also refused to provide his legal team with evidence to file his case until the time for litigation elapsed the answer is simple Uche Ogah was used by PDP and Dr. Ikpeazu to stop the APC and also dislodge Dr. Alex Otti who was a serious opposition and the man whom the state PDP was afraid of.
