They might have died! Did you see the part that says she has been begging for death for the past 70 years. May be her children have already started dying by then.
If she is truly 160yrs old, it's most likely she outlived all her children and some grand-children self. She may only be left with great-grand-children.

How do you expect them to get that? Sometimes they figure their age based on event she told them from the past, the children start calculating from there. 160 might not be her actual age she might be even more. She looks older than me friends Grand MA who's over 117 I guess. I don't doubt if this Grandma is over 140.
