The is very good for security of lagos state, most of these people are not even Nigerians , no address , no family here It's risky , if blow up your state , stay and defend it , during election they will all go back and vote , then come back to Lagos at every little sound of bomb ! It's a good move by Lagos State govt , he that damage his sleeping mat , let him sleep on the floor !! 30 Likes 4 Shares |

Well... When you make hasty policies that affect the masses without factoring in a transition period and providing better alternatives and palliative measures... You really shouldn't expect compliance. If light rails were present in Lagos, who would even want to risk his/her life flying okada or keke? The government should stop being stupid and irresponsible. Fix transportation, and you wouldn't even have to ban any okada or keke because they will fizzle out when there's no demand. 244 Likes 22 Shares |

Fashola tried this throughout his 8 year tenure as governor but failed. Anybody that told Sanwo Olu that he could chase this people out, less than one year into his tenure, is really a bad script writer. He got his priorities wrong 72 Likes 4 Shares |

Nigerians always like to maintain status quo. Any good policy that is aimed to bring sanity and foster development, they would resist it just for their own selfishness. In Holland, even billionaires use bicycles as a means of transportation. If you don't have a car and the buses aren't enough, get yourself a bicycle if your distance is not more than 5 miles. 60 Likes 5 Shares |

Ofcourse, they will surely make it back to the road. Fashola did more than this to scrap off bikes off major roads in Lagos during his terms, but befr you say "jack" they were back on the road. The only issue is dat, it's now an avenue for police to make money and be chasing bike with their vans as if they are thieves, so they can exploits them 7 Likes |

Lagos cannot do without Keke especially okada if the government are really there to serve the masses You cannot throw the baby out with the bathwater Last month has been a horrific experience for Lagosians! For instance restrict them from the major road. Fashola did and it worked!!! I expected that anyone governing Lagos will borrow a leaf from Fashola!!! Cause as a governor, Fashola sure knows what he was doing!!! Make policies that are people friendly and watch this state thrive!!! The very people you are serving will amaze you!!! 4 Likes 1 Share |

nothing much has changed really, i still board bus the same fee and sometimes even lesser... Sometimes i love the serenity of BRT bus lane in Iyana-Ipaja. Meanwhile we sell Greek Yoghurt, frozen yoghurt, Yoghurt Parfait, and natural fruit juices. 1 Like

Sirjamo: That is a country where traffic rules are obeyed. In Nigeria, dangote truck drivers see themselves as incredible hulks and car or bus drivers as flies they can crush and get away with. And you want majority to flood the road, riding bicycles with those insane fellows? This is Lagos we are talking about o, where commercial bus drivers and their rackety buses have no iota of obidience for any traffic law. I buy your idea, but much is to be done before such an idea can thrive in this state where lunacy is seen as bravery.
