George Stinney Jr of African descent was the youngest person to be sentenced to death in the 20th century in the United States Of America.

He was only 14 years old when he was executed in an electric chair.

During his trial, even on the day of his execution, he always carried a bible in his hands, claiming to be innocent.

He was accused of killing two white girls, 11-Year-old Betty, and Mary of 7, the bodies were found near the house where the teenager resided with his parents.

At that time, all members of the jury were white. The trial lasted only 2 hours, and the sentence was dictated 10 minutes later.

The Boy's parents were threatened, and prevented from being present in the courtroom, and subsequently expelled from that city.

Before the execution, George spent 81 days in prison without being able to see his parents.

He was held in solitary, 80 miles from his city. He was heard alone without the presence of his parents or a lawyer.

He was electrocuted with 5,380 volts in his head, imagine all that voltage in a teenager's head.

70 years later, his innocence was finally proven by a judge in South Carolina. The boy was innocent, someone set him up to blame him for being black.

May his innocent soul rest in peace.

May his soul rest in peace!

As I was reading a thought descended on me.

Some white men raped those young girls, to silence them and remain incognito they killed the girls and dumped near the black family and fingered George for the crime.

May the souls of those girls and that of George continue to fight their killers for justice.

MP,

Is that not the history of America or has anything changed since 1619?

They are just more sophisticated about it. But recently, even their hypocrisy is glaring.

They do it with impunity with the "rule of law".

Terrible. That’s why some white families are cursed with all sorts. You cant falsely accuse and murder someone and go Scott free. The wickedness of some set of people is appalling. A group of people capable of so much destruction and hate. What a history. Too bad.

One of the reasons why black Americans can't understand why some Africans would applaud Trump for giving recognition to racists like Rush Limbaugh.

What is the similarity between Ben Carson and Rush Limbaugh?
If you support known racists you are basically supporting the type of mindset that put an innocent boy in the electric chair.
I love tribalism against ibos? You are wrong.

Because Trump is the only white leader that even 'acts' like he cares about the genocide in West Africa, from Cameroun to Nigeria,

No matter how brutal the European were/are to Negroes, it can never compare to the slave raiding Fulanis and Borno, you can see their handiwork today, they don't even bother with courts or jury, they just burn villages and steal people, if the slave trade was still on, you already know what they do to those kidnapped.

Nothing really changes

First your grammar is poor which makes reading an interesting topic sometimes uninspiring.
Secondly, maybe following from the basis of what led to my first point, you couldn't correctly point out that his conviction was overturned 70years later, not because he was proven to be innocent of the crime, but from the errors in the investigation and trial process.
These were:
(1)His so called confession was very doubtful and thus not admissible
(2)He wasn't given the opportunity of a defence attorney
(3)The trial jury was biased.
It's annoying seeing someone putting out half facts in a mumbled piece just to create a topic.

Trump doesn't give a rat's ass about anything going on in West Africa. He already told you how he feels about you and your countries; Shithole.
It is up to Africans to fix Africa, I don't except much from someone like Trump in the first place.

Trump's family also came to the US as immigrants. His wife is even a current immigrant. I wonder why his grandfather did not stay in Germany as well, or why his wife did not remain in Croatia or wherever she came from.
