He has the right to sue the Italian government for breaching the rule of confidentiality, if his consent wasn't sought for.
The truth is that neither you nor any other Nigerian, not even Buhari, has any legal right to demand for any patient's name.
The decision is between the medical team and the patient.
That a rule was breached in Italy doesn't mean it must be breached in Nigeria for you to accept the patient is a confirmed case.
Nigerians are negatively minded, and I like the way the ministry of health stood their ground.
It's not the name that's infected; it's a man who's already in isolation, no longer constitutes any further harm to the society, with his medical details already published.
His name matters only to the medical team for identification and documentation, and not to the negatively minded Nigerian populace.

Go and read about confidentiality in medicine. You have no rights to demand for any patient's name, nor do the medical team has any such rights to release any patient's name without his consent. Medical details can be released, which has already been done, in case of diseases of public health importance. The man's health details have been given to you; what else do you need his names for? Medical practice has an international standard. That a rule has been broken in one country for one reason or the other doesn't mean it should be broken in others.

So something that's rarely practiced outside is what we are practicing here.. for what reason?

Is this some sort of biological warfare? I have a feeling that the US probably sent people to China, Italy and Iran to spread the virus. They travel to these countries with the virus and the vaccine to cure it. Immediately they get to their various coutries of target, they infect themselves with the virus, spread it and then take the cure vaccines after which they return back to America.
