The commissioner of Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority, Mr Kenneth Umunnakwe Onoh uses the power of his office for personal vendetta.
The man Mr Ken onoh has being in loggerheads with his community Enugu Ngwo over community land at Iva-valley Enugu. During the last regime of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi the Enugu Ngwo’s President General Bro John Enwu (Eziomume) had fallout with Ken Onoh who was busy plotting and selling some lands belonging to the community. However, the community has given a huge chunk of the land to the government. So when the remaining was continuously being tampered with by ken Onoh who said he was doing that on the directives of governor ugwuanyi. The community invited him to come and explain to the elders in council of Igwe IOU Ayalogu why he chooses to help government to disenfranchise his community. However he did not show up on three of such invitations. The community then ousts him and sent some delegate to meet the governor to discuss the matter. After the meeting with the governor, some portions were left for the community and the owners were allowed to build houses and walls to secure their lands
Then all the exco members of Bro John Enwu became enemies of Ken Onoh except one person who was his mole in the exco. Later governor Ugwuanyi’s second tenure began and he appointed Mr Ken Onoh the commissioner of ECTDA, and coincidentally, the tenure of bro John Enwu as the PG ended and new government was appointed.
The first thing Mr Ken onoh did after his inauguration was to go and mark ‘remove’ on a building at the roofing stage owned by his kinsman Chidi Onoh, who happened to be the task force chairman of Enugu Ngwo during Bro John Enwu’s regime. Not minding that it is against the law, he did not even wait for up to a week after writing ‘remove’; he personally came with his python wrapped around his neck to pull down the house. He supervised the bulldozer until that house was demolished to foundation level. This is a young man who is struggling to survive in this economy. Why would Ken pull his house down? He thinks he has the governors backing? Then he can even go against the law? He thinks the guy is poor and cannot do anything? For god sake, this house is inside the bush. He should not have pulled it down even if it is on a land that has no papers. He should mark their normal ‘remove’ then wait for things to be clarified. But instead, he pulled it down in a hurry to punish his relative. He is not denying that this is a personal vendetta and he is using his office to settle the matter to his satisfaction. He said his relative should have supported him when the community was against him. He had arrested the said Chidi Onoh on this matter with SARS but the community stepped in at that time to bail him and the matter ended or so everybody thought before this happened.
On a second thought, he said that the house was built on a land that has no papers; he has forgotten that the land is a community land which the community leased to coal cooperation for 100 years. Unfortunately, the end of 100 years was during Gov. Ugwuanyi’s regime as governor. So he came and grabbed most of the land in the name of development.
The same day, he went to demolish a tent built by Master builder’s Church inside a compound owned by also a man from Ngwo. If not that they were having prayer meeting and the congregation stopped the bulldozer from entering the compound, which would have been the second witch hunting.
The question is why was it chidi onoh’s house that was demolished alone? There are other structures there, especially walls, why didn’t he demolish those ones too. This house is still inside a bush as most people have not started building their houses there. Recently a medical doctor from the same community whose wall was not touched initially was marked ‘remove’ because his wife commented negatively on a post praising Mr Ken Onoh on facebook. So he wants to demolish the wall as revenge.
Recently, he wrote a later to the community asking them to stop building on the layout (Eziomume layout) the community shared among young boys from 26-30 years of age. He is planning on bringing government to the land to sell and share the money. Why did a community have such a person?
Why did Ugwuanyi appoint ken as a commissioner for ECTDA? Is it for this reason, if it is not, then he should quickly remove him because he is seriously abusing his office.
There must be compensation paid to this young man Chidi Onoh. He has being going through so many illnesses since the demolition of his house among which is high blood pressure.
This is man’s inhumanity to man. Ken Onoh has no human heart, he is a wicked man. Your father of blessed memory would be very ashamed to have given birth to a shrew.
By the way, why did Mr Ken Umunnakwe Onoh all of a sudden started answering Dr Joseph Umunnakwe Onoh? Whose certificate is he posing with? Our dear governor, open your eyes and investigate this fraudulent act of impersonation.
