Supposing Sanusi lied, how come the government did not sue him? They only sacked him, which shows that they only punished him for his lack of loyalty, and not because he lied.

How can someone lie, and no investigations were carried out to exonerate the government? At that time, was Sanusi more powerful than the government, or was he above the law that he could not be made to account for his false accusation?

It is either GEJ was truly a weakling or Sanusi was telling the truth.

And I am inclined to believe the latter because it is more sensible.

Don't come out as one who is ignorant. Who told you investigation was not carried out? The GEJ govt invited Prince and Waters (a reputable auditing firm based in the UK) to audit the NNPC accounts. After the auditing, they couldn't substantiate Sanusi's claim of missing $20 billion dollars.

Even Buhari govt Can't tell you such monies got missing. Moreover, how much is the Nigeria annual budget that $20billion dollars will just get missing. Just like that?

Karma has visited him. Simple

Una go cry for a long time. If not that you people have generational problems, you will not say that Sanusi Lamido was dethroned because Sanusi did not support GEJ to loot the treasury. Now, tell me, why did GEJ's half brother and also his uncle both died at a young age while GEJ was President? Was it because they were against GEJ or did GEJ use them for rituals as Reuben Abati suggested in his article titled "Aso Rick Demons"?

Look at this Buffon? Ignorant idiot.

Go and read how Sanusi lied about missing $20 billion dollars without any single evidence, later reduced it to $10 billion dollars. Gave $100 million naira to IDP's in the North. Was sacked by the GEJ govt. The govt appointed Prince and Waters (a reputable auditing firm to investigate the NNPC accounts and Sanusi's claim couldn't be substantiated.

Read also how Sanusi was compensated with the Kano Emirate by Kwankwanso to shed him from investigations by the FIU.

Today, the Kano state Govt has lied against him to have him dethroned. How else do you want to define Karma.

This Jonathan defeat of 2015 really pained his beneficiaries. Imagine five years after, they're still reeling in pains and won't pass any opportunity to link any bad event that happens to any politician as karma or payback for GEJ losing an election fair and square. No amount of image laundering and whitewashing by his bandwagon of sympathizers will re-write history for those of us who know what he's all about.
Jonathan is gone and gone forever, and there's absolutely nothing your wailings and cries can do about it.

Bros, Reno is very stupid. You too..... should understand Nigeria. This is someone that cannot come to Nigeria because he has corruption allegations hanging on his head. The GEJ he is hailing is the reason for your situation today. Diziani is still hiding in london, there are evidences of stupendous money paid to CAN, Bafarawa, and so many people, this is money that is supposed to build roads, hospitals, schools, provide agriculture etc, Reno is a beneficiary and you say he is not stupid? Why do you think we have an old, tired, retired and incompetent man ruling us today? Because of the mega failures of GEJ. So, my chairman, Reno Omokri is a fool, a stupid and corrupt individual that thinks he can use blogging to make Buhari unpopular.

Reno wants to trend? Funny dude. Now let me tell you how SLS lied against GEJ.

During GEJ govt, Sanusi made an allegation that NNPC didn't remit $20 billion dollars to CBN (not 20 billion Naira, 20 billion dollars) and that such monies may have been stolen by the govt of the day. He later reduced the amount to $10 billion dollars. He made this allegation without providing a single evidence. (Mind you, even if you steal $10 billion dollars from the confers of the US govt, every US citizen will feel it. The economy will feel it, not to talk of Nigeria. Moreover, how much is Nigeria's annual budget that $20 billion dollars will just get missing.

That embarrassed the GEJ govt. The govt later appointed Prince and waters firm (a UK based auditing firm to audit the NNPC accounts). The auditing was done, and Sanusi's claim couldn't be substantiated.

Even Buhari as president has not come out to say such humongous amount of money was missing.

Sanusi was sacked by GEJ. He was later compensated with the Kano Emirate by kwankwanso, who was against GEJ then.

Today, the Kano state govt has fabricated lies against Sanusi so he can be dethroned. How else do you want to define Karma?

Sanusi, Saraki, Atiku, Dino melaye, Obj (alleged that GEJ was training 1000 snipers against political opponents), Sowore, Oshiomole, Kwankwanso, where are they today. The only notable people remaining are Ameachi and Tinubu.

We never saw the outcome of the audit as such, we can't tell if it is true or otherwise. One thing we all know is that NNPC from time has been used as a channel of looting. Ibe Kachukwu also voiced out stealing in his time except you mean it was also a lie against Buhari's government.

Tinubu is a Mentalist big time, a very rare breed at it. Anybody that messes with him will regret it for long. Even when Tinubu seems to lose, expect him to have made calculations that pushed to accept a strategic loss for greater gains. Never compare Sanusi who is a righteous fool and Tinubu who is a wise crook.

How much is out total budget that $20 billion would be missing and we won't feel it?

Sanusi is an arrogant fuul who ran the CBN like it was his personal fiefdom while refusing to take supervision from the presidency cos of the North's born to rule mentality.

If I see him personally I would spit in his face!

Personal beef. How much do they loot yearly from our treasury? How much do we estimate oil prices for budget, where are the windfalls? Yet, we go a borrowing. Let's be truthful to ourselves at least.

Jonathan had and still has no enemies. I say this for a Fact! He only enemy(ies) was Himself.

Nigerians not Apc or sowore or Sanusi or obasanjo or even the North spoke against Gej and his misrule.

Witcher:
Some of the most common behavioral characteristics of drug abuse include:

Abrupt changes in mood. As chemical imbalances develop, drug addicts can experience feelings of depression, anxiety, irritability, hostility, and paranoia that seem to come from nowhere.
Decrease in ability to enjoy formerly pleasurable activities. Drugs sap emotional energy, leaving little room for other types of enjoyment or pleasure.
Rationalization and denial. People addicted to drugs erect walls of denial to protect themselves from the truth, and the attempts of loved ones to break through those walls will bring a string of excuses and rationalizations, which the drug abuser will actually believe.
Stronger symptoms of mental illness. In 2016, 43.3 percent of people with drug abuse problems also suffered from some form of mental illness, and the symptoms of mental disorders are likely to intensify when complicated by substance dependence.
Impulsivity. As time passes drug addicts may lose their inhibitions and suffer from impaired judgement, which leads them to make rash and questionable decisions that may seem completely out of character.
Feelings of guilt and shame. People with addictions often feel deeply ashamed because of their inability to stop using drugs, and they also feel guilty about the pain their behavior causes for loved ones.
Hallucinations and delusions. At the extreme edges of addiction, people who abuse drugs repeatedly may begin to lose touch with reality, to the point where immediate medical intervention is required.
In the early stages of a person’s descent into addiction, friends and family members may not understand what is happening. Or, they may have suspicions but still be uncertain.

Either way, they will know something is terribly wrong with their loved one, who may attempt to hide what they’re thinking and feeling but won’t be able to do so completely.

Do you have any advice? What's your purpose for the post?

You don't need any link. Go to Google. The information is there on credible online news outlet.

Secondly, who widely believes that the said amount went missing? Who? You? Or majority of Nigerians? Even this present govt doesn't believe such nonsense.

Thirdly, on why Sanusi was not sued. You must understand that he was quickly made Emir by Kwankwanso even b4 investigations could start. Apart from suing, he was being investigated by the FIU for financial impropriety. (Remember he gave IDP's in thr north100 million naira from the CBN confers).

I can see how some Nigerian use to think very with this SLS issue.
Was it not Ado Bayero father that just left the throne when SLS was made Emir?
Was the emirate for only one person or family?
Are they both not entitle to this same throne?
How did you expect Bayero to die and his son took over when there are other family entitle to the throne?
Will play politics with every aspect of live and that is why we the masses could not unite and fight these our leaders that are pushing us up and down.
Many of us here spewing rubish here were struggling even to buy data on the phone we are using and here supporting GEJ, PMB or SLS.
God will help us.

Politics and sentiment could not allow us to think straight again .
If the former Emir did not died, can they rush and made SLS Emir?
Was it the same day that he was suspended by GEJ that SLS was made Emir?
Okay, what of Ado Bayero that was made Emir few hours after removing SLS?
