He said Islam would vanish from Nigeria, if poverty continues in the North.

Some say that his recent speeches against the high poverty level in Northern Nigeria led to his dethronement as Emir.

Hear him speak:

But why does Northern Nigeria have the highest poverty level in the country, despite having Governors, Council Chairmen, Senators, Representatives.?

They get more allocation. They spend lesser in governance compared to some other states but remain the poorest. Why?

History Will Reward Emir Sanusi Lamido

Insurgence and all forms of evil in a society doesn't describes her as a failure, but vividly shows a lack of love for one another.

If that was the reason he was dethroned, then whoever dethroned him in the first place lacks sense.

What has Islam contributed to the vast majority of its adherents in the North?

Apart from fanaticism, what else?

The North has been dragging Nigeria backwards from time immemorial. Go to school, no way. Limit number of children or give birth to the ones you can take care of, they'll refuse.

And finally, they blame it all on religion, rather than take responsibility for their lives
