If majority of these ATM machines were not in bank premises, one could imagine the huge number of breakage and buglary that would have occurred with the sole intent of stealing all the money inside the machine.

This is why some banks don’t do out of station ATMs. The school is supposed to help with security. That said, there is no much money in an ATM, let alone one that has dispensed cash.
