The deposed emir of Kano HRH Sanusi Lamido Sanusi no doubt is the only credible candidate the North has for the forthcoming 2023 Presidential election.

His removal from office without much intervention from the presidency is purely political. A former governor of the state recently accused President Buhari of the dethronement of Emir Sanusi

The Northern oligarchy are political mathematicians. They do not want the west to take over Aso rock come 2023 hence the grooming of a greenhorn with a daunting CV has began

From available permutations, the judiciary will set aside the banishment but uphold the deposition of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. As it stands, the governor of Kaduna State is not a northern favourite for the post of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The removal of Sanusi Lamido us nothing but a script crafted by power brokers. The role of Ganduje is nothing short of the hands of Esau. I am very confident that Sanusi will be pardoned and reconciled with Ganduje as the election draws closer. Sanusi will surely join the APC.

The yorubas will learn the bitter lessons of their lives the day Sanusi Joins the presidential race. He remains the only detribalised Nigerian with large support base than any other contestant from the southwest.

Come 2023, the deposed emir will contest the election on the APC platform. This man will get block votes from the North, West and South. He is a brilliant and articulate man who understands the economy of Nigeria.

Always obsessing about the Yorubas and propagating what you think will teach them "the bitter lessons of their lives" never mind how ignorant you sound with your analysis.

The Yorubas want the Presidency because we are confident we have the best and most balanced candidates to use the position optimally for the glory of Nigeria.

You lot should then not think the position is a tool of blackmail against Yoruba (Miyetti Allah) or something we will be hurt by in we do not achieve as Igbos keep shouting.

Sanusi and Ganduje history of rancor is well-documented yet you must turn It into some Nollywood fantasy to suit your narrative of a plot to deny the Yorubas.

Ganduje has vowed to deal with Sanusi and he has gained the tacit support of the powerful conservatives in the North who detest the maverick pontificating of Sanusi and view it an affront to the religion and values of the region. Nothing more and nothing less but you people are always driven by sentiment so you will forever remain blind to what is obvious to all others.

Igbos are very very funny. Whenever it comes to a contest between Yorubas and Igbos, they will go and hide behind Hausa/Fulani.

When it was time for Igbos to bring out their son to contest against MKO Abiola, Igbos went and brought a Kano man Alhaji Bashiru Tofa and then nominated theri son Sylvester Ugor to be VP. Even Alhaji Bashiru Tofa was whipped by MKO in Bashiru Tofa's Ward, LG and State.

Now that the time is coming for another Yoruba Vs Igbo political battle, Igbos have started campaigning for another Hausa/Fulani. What a people!

Now let me tell you, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi can never ever rule Nigeria because of how he forcefully took over Southern banks. We reported the idiot to the gods of our land. So, Sango, Ogun, Obatala, Aiyelala and Osun first took Sanusi to a very high height (Emirship), then they sent Esu Laalau Ogiri-Oko to throw him (Sanusi) down from the very high height so that he won't survive it. Now, he is on the ground and in severe pains, but he won't survive it, he will die from the pains and we shall attend his burial and do Owanbe party.

As you continue pitying and campaigning for Sanusi just because you are afraid to confront Yorubas at the polling booths, think also about the several thousands of bank workers who ae majorly Yorubas, Igbos, Ijaws, Kalabari, Calabars, Ikwerres, e.t.c. that Sanusi sent to the streets though illegal takeover of very very healthy Southern banks.

If you have a relative who was a bank worker then but lost his/her job to Sanusi's illegality or you know husband and wife who worked in different banks but both lost their jobs and lost to Sanusi's criminal take over of Southern banks, then you will know that Sanusi's children and children's children up to the 7th generation will pay for Sanusi's sins.

Those who have memory, let them remember.

Are you even minding these people and their backward thinking? Sanusi who has unraveled as everything the conservative and self-serving elite of the North hate is the man they are now crafting this eleborate scheme to install?

You have 4 beautiful daughters yet you are working to help a convicted rapist to move into your house. Makes sense to anyone but Igbos?

Same Sanusi who spoke against unfair advantage bestowed on the North and said others (the south) cannot keep educating their children at great cost only for the North to be favored unfairly to benefit via quota system and such practices?

Sanusi who is condemning the Islamic right of a man to marry several wives and have many children is the person the very religiously conservative ruling and elite class of the North will see as foremost Northerners to become President? So self-harm, rather than self-preservation, is now in fashion in the North ba?

Nothing, however ludicrous, we will not hear from Igbos in their obsession with fantasizing about anything they think may harm the interest or ambitions of the Yorubas. If many from the North had their ways, and if this was 1960 and Sanusi is not the dapper citizen of the world he is, SLS would be serving a 100 year jail sentence with hard labor.

This is how much the conservative North hate him for his outspoken attack against them they consider a personal affront. Just like how all APC leaders were united against Ambode, for Igbos alone to be interpreting otherwise and shouting Tinubu, is how Northern conservatives are united in wishing to see Sanusi punished and disgraced. Again, as we see from this thread, only Igbos interpret wrongly what even a child can fathom.

I guess Igbo people are hiding behind the Hausa Fulani just the same way you hid behind them in 2015 against a Southerner,GEJ right? Butterfly thinking itself a bird

Rubbish. When will you people simply accept that the Yoruba are far more democratic than you and always about progressive leadership? Yorubas simply rejected bad leadership of GEJ in 2015 as you lot were unable to do because you are tribalistic beyond redemption.

The truth of this was demonstrated by how GEJ won 5 out of 6 Yoruba States in 2011 and PMB won nil since Ribadu was victorious in Osun.

After 4 years of GEJ's horrendous leadership the Yorubas simply felt it was time to opt for a change. Even then GEJ still did very well in the SW in 2015.

You just need to get it in your head that Yorubas value good leadership more than ethnic affiliation. We won't vote a misrulers, merely because he is our brother, as you Igbos do and are always ready to do. You people are the only ones still crying over the removal of the worthless GEJ and rejoicing about 'karma' befalling all who worked against him.

Suggesting here that we hid behind Fulani against a Southerner in 2015 just shows how you lot are still a million miles behind the Yorubas in the understanding and practice of democracy. Jonathan, truth be told, was so terrible a leader that he should have fared far worse in that 2015 election were Nigeria to be the UK, France or even Ghana, Botswana, Rwanda etal.

This trashy trashy applies to Igbos too.

2015 is the only time .. Yoruba nation won election in Nigeria.

They’re permanent opposition..

Presently they understand that 2023 won’t favor them.. explain shout of regionalism.. only this time.. Yoruba won’t sing their usual “ true federalism and restructuring”
They’ve been restricted to regionalism by their own “ sophistication “
