Four officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Office, Kwara State, have received "Certificate of Commendation" from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI.

This was in recognition of their roles in the success of "Operation Rewired 2019", a joint field operation with the FBI to combat the menace of cybercrime.

The recipients include, the Zonal Head, Mallam Isyaku Sharu; his second-in-command, Mr. Dare Folarin; Head of Advance Fee Fraud, Mr. Olamide Sadiq and Mr. Sesan Ola of the Legal and Prosecution Department.

I don't condone cyber crime in any shape or form but I find it quite hypocritical and ironic how the US be forming saint when in reality they are home to some of the worlds most prominent cyber criminals. Most of the softwares used are gotten from the US.
