It all started like a joke when a neighbouring hotel recently forced their way into Lekki Leisure Beach.

The beach was concessioned by the Lagos State Government to Optima Leisure well-known as Lekki Leisure and is a well run establishment with a good reputation.

Despite all this, Banex Hotel forcefully used armed mobile policemen, thugs and hoodlums to gain entrance into the said property and are trying to establish a presence without any legal right , permit or title on the beachfront land.

In respect to this an injunction with the SUIT NO: LD/9023LMW/2020 against this illegal occupation has been ordered by Justice T. Oyekan Abdulahi of the Lagos State High Court
