Can 69 billion naira last us two weeks as a nation?

Mind you that Nigeria shares around 180 billion to 300 billion naira per month.
69 billion in one of the many aspects the country generates money from, so you still believe borrowing will solve our problem.

You are very right.

69 billion won't even fund much of anything. It isn't even a quarter of what we spend on education

Quarter of what is spent on education and our education is at an all time low?

I don't think or remember if I have held or seen 69billion naira in my life so far but the weight it carries in my head, says it a lot of money, so don't just try to undermine 69billion naira like its nothing abeg

These funds, if put to good use, Nigeria would be far beyond where we are today

A very shameful amount. Anyone who comes in defense of this lacks understanding and is only a useful idiot.

Abegii last what?
The question is do they spend up to that amount on relevancies or is it just being looted
Why can't Nigerians feel the impact of those billions being mentioned up and down if they are being well spent ..
Mtcheew

The annoying part is people are actually defending the fact that the money has no had effect on our economy, some people just dey talk like say 69billion no be money Sha, when we should actually carry guns and shoot down the political class for reckless spending of our national earnings

Imagine you carried a placard saying you want to protest the recklessness of this government, somebody would come up to you saying the money was not even enough to sponsor road project sef, when in real sense, the money is chilling in a thief's account

ThAt is only about $200m. very small chicken change. If it is improved income compared to previous years then good, but we expect much more.

Is it
N 224.79 million

Or

N224,790. million?

The difference in these two figures
is massive, yet they are being used
interchangeably.

One figure is Two hundred & twenty four
million, while the other is two hundred
& twenty four billion!!! shocked

70 billion naira ( barely 200m usd) isn't quite something to be proud of for solid minerals. They shoild be doing more.

Nnpc oil does almost 10 trillion naira in a bad tear, customs a trillion. Minerals should be topping 500 billion.

FG should do more to develop this sector for crying out loud. We need national revenues not just any figure.
