Senator Shehu Sani has called out the federal government on not closing the border for travellers amidst Coronavirus

Futhermore, Sani said borders closed for importation of rice but not closed on foreign nationals coming into the country from countries with prevalent cases of coronavirus.

Also, several people are calling on the government to ban countries affected by this virus from entering into the country.

He wrote: “Our borders remain open for Corona and closed for Rice.”

The UK and other European countries are shutting their borders already.

But Nigeria's delay in doing such could be for some economic reasons.

FG should consider the well being of the citizens far above any economic gain
