Edo state has recorded another confirmed case of coronavirus, the Central Medical Director (CMD) of Irrua Specialist Hospital (ISTH), Sylvanus Okogbenin disclosed this at a press conference, today

Abayomi said the case is a 30 year old Nigerian woman, member of Non- Government Organization community, who travelled from UK to Lagos on 13th of March 2020.

This development comes early hour of this morning after a student was rushed from the state own university health center confirmed that the young lady possesses all symptoms of Coronavirus as the hospital awaits the test results.

The CMD immediately request her isolation pending on the final test results

This country ehn.... Must u wait until the person starts showing symptoms before taking action? What happens to checking the returnees from the airport before they start mixing with people. This matter is annoying.

And thank God for the travel ban on most infected countries. These people traveling round and bringing the virus into Nigeria will be unable to do so henceforth. Stubborn people. You know how incompetent our government is, you still travel to infected countries at will. Can't you postpone your trip for now? Some people's carelessness is just annoying.
