Why should it be banned?? what's wrong with the song?

How am I not sure the poster is the artist himself or the artist's friend just trying to promote his song here on nairaland?

Absolutely. And why did it make front page? or is the mod. himself Mr put something?

Anyway the only reason it should be banned is the degree of "warwar" by the artiste.

The Artist is a friend from way back, I would have prefered he did Something Better or More internationally acceptable and less deprave, I only wonder what message such music would give out to the younger ones, The Future Leaders,

Naaaaaaah I don't think so, NairaLand is not for sale, But being in the Nairaland's prestigious frontpage is no small thing though.

Must every song teach something? Whatever happened to a song or movie being just for entertainment purposes?

It is in this same bid to always convey a moral lesson that most of our home movies today end up being worthless tragedies. . . every producer wants his movie to 'teach something'

We should be emphasizing on proper censorship and not Banning! Banning! Banning! cos if a child is not already morally depraved, he/she wouldn't know the meaning of 'Put something'

This our hypocritical nature is the reason why Nigeria is where it is today.

I totally agree with you, We know the Censors board are trying, and we hope they do better, especially in the Soft ----Movies, Anywayz I want to also be able to brag about Nigerian music being rich and not sounding Same as kwaito(SA music) does,

Some of u on this thread sound like u've got personal issues with the artiste, if if aint fine nko? Should that be a basis for judging him,how many of nigeria's finest are so 'FINE'?,.personally i believe every1 has a message he/she's trying to portray,he's chosen his path he can get better tho,but banning him 's not stop the thousands like him out there

May God in Heaven bless you. Nigerian movies do not make sense solely based on that logic, the good name ALWAYS win, the criminal is ALWAYS caught, the cheating woman/man ALWAYS suffers, the born again ALWAYS overcomes. Is that the way the world works ? Just on this argument alone Nigerian movies are not REALISTIC.
