I Need A Replacement. by limsycutey(f): 8:24pm On Mar 19, 2020
I'm currently driving a 2008 Honda Civic which has been unproblematic mostly but it gets hot, I mean really hot. Its like the car is cooking me slowly. Normally, I can feel the heat from the engine on my feet while driving. I'm also tired of it hitting the ground everywhere cos of its low ground clearance.

My birthday is next month and I want to gift myself a new car. What I can afford is 1.6 - 1.7m. I want an SUV because of Lagos roads. With my budget I can obviously afford only a naija used. What are my options please? I like RAV4 but I'm not a fan of the spare tire at the back and the versions without are not common, it's a detail I can overlook though. I've been checking out CRV too but I'm just trying to be careful so I don't buy a money pit.

Please advise.

For that budget, you would only get a dead car. Don't go and buy scraps in this times of economic uncertainty.
