My cousins 2007 ML350 just arrived from yankee. Upon inspection we discovered that the Engine has a knocking sound and it emits blueish smoke from the exhaust pipe which i assume to be oil burning out.. We also discovered that the engine oil was mixed with water when we drained it out for oil change. Mechanic said Oil cooler was bad which we bought and replaced(photo attached) My observations: The knocking sound is coming from the upper part of the engine and not deep inside engine and tends to fade away when engine is fired Can this be fixed or do we replace the engine Suggestions are needed
