The economic capital of Nigeria was the first location as might been expected for the COVID 19 virus by Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) at 27th February 2020 which has in some nations early than that. In view of the effect of this on the economic activities, many have suggested globally that this will bring a spike in the online industry. But there are other channel feeding electronic commerce that will not guarantee hike for a long time, if the days get longer. With supply chain been a major aspect of this, in which big ecommerce company with deep inventory can last more and this also varies depending on the product type of the platform.

In the United State;
Preliminary data from Quantum Metric show that e-commerce associated with selected “Brick and Mortar retailers … saw an average revenue weekly growth rate increase of 52% and an 8.8% increase in conversion rates” compared to a year ago. The company’s findings are based on more than 5 billion U.S. retailer web and mobile site visits between January 1 and February 29.
