Covid-19 Came Into Nigeria In December 2019. by Alfred74: 10:05am On Mar 20, 2020 |
With a the noise on Corona being blown out of proportion , Corona has been in Nigeria for a while. I had a friend who came in from China (Wuhan to be precise) in Dec and went to a state in the north, he came down with all the symptoms of covid-19 (severe) he was admitted in a private hospital , he was visited by friends and family and interestingly the medical team didn't know what was wrong but just treated him based on his symptoms (including malaria ) he was discharged after 3weeks and he is currently hail and hearty . Nigerians have been moving from Wuhan to Nigeria and back since November nigerians have been falling sick and getting better, most Nigerians have falling sick from covid-19 and recovering without knowing. 1 Like |

Alfred74: Mumu. Only say what you know with verified facts. December is harmantan period. I know many people who never traveled anywhere in December who went down with flu because of harmantan last December. Don't start causing panic. Na people like una dey enjoy to add salt and pepper to small gist, then you sit and wait for reaction. I know one woman like you. They told her a school bus had an accident. Kids were injured, no life was lost. When she was giving the story inside market, she said 5 kids died. Market women started wailing and crying. She was enjoying the reactions. That's your kind of person |

Believable. So many people eventually got well by taking conventional cough mixture, paracetamol and hot/warm water @Babatunde40, I don't think the op has any bad intentions, I think he's even trying to allay people's fears that Corona virus is not always a death sentence. Some people may even have it without spending days in the ICU. Above all, let's pray for God's timely intervention |

Your point is valid but it could have been made without calling the poster mumu. Mumu. Only say what you know with verified facts. December is harmantan period. PatrickOkunima:very very possible.. A disease can go round the world in 48 hours without noise,..esp a novel one that just takes only a loud unrestrained/unhindered sneeze in a crowded place(plane) to spread |
