The Job Creation and Empowerment Initiative of the Social Investment Programme (SIP) of the Nigerian Government has said that "there is no room for inter-state redeployment" in the N-Power scheme. Allnews reports that according to Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, as at February 25, 2020, there are 473,137 Nigerians enrolled in the N-Power programme.
