At such a time as this, it is good to reflect upon, not only on one's physical wellness (Mark 8:36), but on spiritual wellness (Mark 2:17)...and one's own mortality, and the thereafter...

"And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment" - Hebrews 9:27

Thankfully, the Lord GOD is truly merciful...

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise." - Psalm 51:1, also Psalm 145:8-9

"Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years." - Hebrews 3:7-9

...by His grace, the Lord Jesus freely gives life. "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." - John 10:10, also Psalm 30:5, John 3:16

So, "Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon." - Isaiah 55:6-7

Peace and blessings!

Also reflect on how helpless your devotion to the god concept is in the face of the stark reality of this disease.

=====

The GOD (the only true GOD) Whom I worship - Isaiah 44:6, Isaiah 44:8, Isaiah 45:5 - says “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” - Hebrews 13:5

Personally, He has never failed me... He never fails. - Psalm 89:33, Zephaniah 3:5.

But you'll put into practice all the precautions right? Will you go to church tomorrow?

Of course! To do otherwise would be foolish, no? Furthermore, to combat the spread of the virus, most Churches (certainly mine) are offering worship service remotely for the time being.

Good so your god is merely background noise, if you don't take those precautions you cannot reasonably expect to be protected.

Apparently, you don't know Who GOD is, but I pray that you, and all with your position, find His mercy.

The GOD whose earth this is (Psalm 24) is very real, and has been to date - bearing up the earth & making the sun to shine and rain to fall, even on those that do not believe in Him (Matthew 5:45)... He is eternal Alpha and Omega (Rev 1:7-8 ), and reigns forever.

Imaginary characters cannot have mercy on real people.
