EXCLUSIVE: PRIMATE AYODELE DEFY LAGOS GOVT. DIRECTIVES TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF CORONA VIRUS

Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical spiritual church who earlier backed the Lagos State’s restriction of 50 persons in a gathering due to Corona Virus has defied it .

Primate Ayodele in his reactions stated that it is important to follow the rules of the government because the government is taking measures to ensure that the virus doesn’t spread.

Yesterday 21 of March 2020, the Lagos State Government further reduced the number of persons permitted to be in a social or spiritual gathering from 50 to 20 . This didn’t go down with a lot of religious leaders especially those with large auditoriums .

On Sunday the 22 of March 2020, Prophet Ayodele led a service of more than 50 people . When yours truly visited the church, a small crowd of worshippers of more than 20 were seen outside about to start praying . The second gate into the Church close was locked, members who passed the second gate were asked to remove their shoes.
While some worshippers were outside, preaching to other worshippers was going on in the church auditorium.
