There are brilliant Medical laboratory Scientists who are specialists in Medical Microbiology and Immunology, empower them to develop the CoVID-19 testing kits. The Medical Laboratory Science Council has a superb In-Vitro Diagnostic testing lab for imported and manufactured kits, activate that infrastructure and ask the Scientists to move in and develop the kits. That's where the CBN funds should go right now. This is not the time to play unneccesary politics. This is life and death staring us in the face. All hands must be on deck. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Very good... They shouldn't get tested so that they can infect themselves and share the virus with their families |

Righteousness89: I have said this times without number that we are not ready. At the end of the day, Africa will pay the most price in term of human loss due mainly to ignorance. We chest beat that our blood is immune to the virus, our weather is impenetrable even when countries with more hot climate in the middle east took drastic measures. I'm afraid we are now loosing the battle. It is getting too late. THE ONLY OPTION REMAINING NOW IS TO START AN AGGRESSIVE CAMPAIGN FOR FUNDING FOR FOOD BANKS ACROSS OUR 774 LGA'S, DISTRIBUTE THE FOOD ITEMS TO EVERYONE IN NEED, THEN WE LOCKDOWN EVERYWHERE IN NIGERIA OR THE MAJOR CITIES. We only have few days to make this work and derive any tangible result from this. Corporate organizations, religious houses, wealthy individuals and Government should contribute to this fund. I mentioned Government last because our Government have the reputation for acting too late. Once the number of infected persons in Nigeria reach 10,000, we are doomed. The Chinese Government is now seeing positive results due to their policy to lockdown their cities. Today Monday the 23rd of March, workers in Wuhan are retuning to work again after over one month of lockdown. Most countries are on lockdown now even here in Africa. There are over 500 Lions in the streets of Russia to enforce their stay at home policy. Are we too dumb to follow the steps of other nations? Must we lack behind in everything? A time is coming we will run out of options. It will be a shame on the black race if we loose majority of our population to this virus while China where it originated get back to work with limited damage. Shame! 1 Like |

My position on this corona remain the same. Any passenger(s) that lands in Nigeria should be quarantined for 14days to ascertain his or her health status no matter whom you are. That is the only way out. Self isolation can not work in this situation. But then. Nigeria my country won't do that until it is too late. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Another challenge with this coronavirus is that in the event that any country is overwhelmed you have no other country to look to for help. The US army was quite helpful in Liberia during the Ebola episode. So when I see people trying to use our so-called success with Ebola as a point in their argument, I just laugh! 1 Like |

Nigeria is a Banana Republic in which lawmakers are law breakers with absolute disregard for courtesy. They can go home and infect families members who will come out to infect the general public and behold...the numbers of death will start to rise...! The beginning of the end...! 2 Likes |

MrRichmond: What is obvious is that you have been brainwashed by Biafuro radio and faux entertainment channel. I ha e been following world politics before you were born. I get my my news from multiple reliable sources such has bbc, CNN, CBS NBC abc that have been in the news business before Murdoch even thought of starting faux entertainment channel. Faux is worse than NTA, it's more like a state sponsored mouth piece. Only racist rednecks and retarded brainwashed angry ipob monkeys takes then seriously. 80 percent of Americans don't take them seriously. Son, I can school you on world geopolitical news, trends and reality. Stop getting your fake news from faux trash and Radio Biafuro.
