Arrogant ba.s tards. Like Covid-19 respects their useless positions? Time would tell.

My only concern is the poor in the society. Those without money to stock up food in the house; those who live from hand to mouth, etc. Panic buying already has started which unfortunately would drive up inflation and food shortage. For those who can afford it, buy a lot of food stuff-- enough for a month and ensure you have more to give out to neighbors should the worst comes up. Hunger is a deadly "virus."

The letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, asked the Speaker to direct all members of the House who recently returned from trips abroad to report to the nearest NCDC office with immediate effect for screening.

Why can't you arrest them we use them as an example if they don't want to do their jobs others will do the jobs they are paid to do. This is a situation where you just have to be bold and not care but again if I was a minister I'll sack anybody who let's one person put our lives in danger.

Are we talking about screening here? Only screening is not even enough, Quarantine them immediately whether they are now negative or positive! quarantining any returnee for at least 14 days would have solved our problem because they may be harboring the virus which is still in it's incubation period.

Why was Atiku (jnr) and Achimugu not placed on compulsory quarantine immediately they stepped foot on Nigerian soil FROM A GLOBAL REDZONE!!! Did they not pass through the immigration screen at the airport? Should this not be a STANDING POLICY at this time?

I hear some people say "Atiku is irresponsible, he should have self-isolated himself". Bullshit!!! THE GOVERNMENT IS IRRESPONSIBLE! Our mandate lies with it, not with Atiku or any rogue member of the legislature... It's just like telling a convicted murderer to go hang himself, and then we look away in search of the next murder case. Why not!

P.S.: same for Achimugu.

Should this screening be optional at a time like this? How can you (the government) be telling me that an Atiku entered Nigeria from the UK (UK fa!) without a compulsory 15-day quarantine! Should this Atiku have been allowed to even take three steps on Nigerian soil without the fourth one leading into a waiting CDC van (straight up to an isolation center)!

This is a global war! Why is the military not deployed already at our airport to enforce whatever measure!

Why do we have a government if we would have to place our safety on the whims of an Atiku or some rogue legislative member!

Someone should be shot!

you can isolate yourself if you suspect anything wrong. Govt cannot be everywhere, the atiku son knows where he had been and the kind of people he interacted with,I believe he even started feeling the symptoms before been tested,he should av self isolated himself.
Mind you, Buhari daughter just came in from UK and she isolated herself without waiting for the government.
