Though you didn't ask for this but note that hell is a temporal place (can't talk about it now).

Nobody is predestined for hell, hell is created for the devil and his angels . But if any man goes to hell, he goes to hell for the rejection of Jesus Christ, failing to accept God's sovereign declaration on his son. He publicly testified of His son: "This is my only begotten son, in whom I am well pleased, listen to Him". And the bible further declared: That there's no salvation in any other name other than the name of Jesus whereby we must be saved.

Salvation is open to everyone who will accept Jesus Christ. It's initiated by you, by believing and accepting Jesus as the Lord of your life .Read the scriptures below:

Romans 10 :13 Whosoever call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved .
Joel 2:32 "And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved..."
John 1:12 But as many as received Him (Jesus) , to them gave Him power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name .
Roman 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. {10:10} For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. {10:11} For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Can you lose your salvation ?
Yeah, the bible said, in Philippians 2:12 ".....work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. ....."
If you are born again, you must be ready to live the Christian life . Don't live the life of an unbeliever. Salvation must be maintained.

When the Bible speaks of salvation, it is usually from physical danger.. When David wrote those psalm, he was running from Saul.. Who was hell bent on killing him...
At death, we all return to default settings, the body back to the ground where it was taken and the spirit back to God who gave it.. The spirit is God's and does not need saving from anything..

Like I always say.. We the all God just having a human experience.. In other to make the experience more fulfilling and enjoyable God gave the Jews the Torah and the igbo the omenani or omenala...

Giving your life to an idol(jesus) is highly prohibited and tantamount to idolatry..

See if this excerpt of mine from another thread helps.
OP God has never sent a single soul to hell. We are born in a compromised condition which is hell-bound and God tries to save us from ourselves but since he can't force us, we have to willingly cooperate with Him. All who can fully cooperate with Him, he will be able to save completely but if we resist him as our fallen nature is bound to, we will remain in our hell-bound condition. So ask Him for the grace to fully cooperate with Him
Another excerpt on a believer losing salvation.
Some would say the only sin is the unbeliever's rejecting Jesus but the truth is that's not it. No one can accept Jesus as Lord except helped by the Spirit in the first place. The sin in question here is of a brother not an unbeliever. This singular scripture in 1John5:16 (not to mention others you referenced) completely rubbishes the belief that once one accepts Jesus as Lord, he has eternal security. So, what sin is it.
1. First, understand that this sin can only be committed by a believer.
2. As described in Heb 6: 4-6, the believer is not any misguided, immature believer but one who has passed through all the mentioned levels of development. (most believers don't qualify today. They've not even tasted of the powers of the age to come to begin with)
3. This is not as a result of how grievous the sin is, because the blood of Jesus is enough propitiation for any sin, as long as we can repent from it, and no matter how late we do.
4. This sin is the sin the Lord referred to as blasphemy against the Holy Spirit(Lk 12:10) because it is only obtainable under the dispensation of the Holy Spirit, that is the life of the believer in Jesus Christ.
5. This sin is the cause of the great apostasy of believers which happens before the rapture (2Thes 2:3). Note: the stage is being set for this already as the ignorant preaching of a 'grace' that leaves us without any spiritual responsibility toward God spreads on like wildfire. True grace however, is for righteousness beyond oneself that all around you can attest to, overcoming the struggles of sin and the flesh practically.
6. This sin is basically an outright rejection of God by believers even when there is sufficient experience of God's life and power with a known accessible alternative.
7. A believer who still grieves over his sin (he still listens to his conscience) and seeks a way out of his bondage of sin cannot be guilty of this sin because he is not wilful in sin but just ignorant of how to activate God's grace to overcome sin.
In addition, God initiated salvation for all men only in Christ from the foundation of creation. He further manifested on earth to make it a reality for men. He gave His Spirit to men to bring salvation to earth. The spiritual labours of men who have this Spirit makes it available to others. All who hear of this gospel can receive it by faith. Even if men fail, all men may still access Christ through His Spirit by faith. All who enter into Christ by faith can access this provision of God's salvation.

Salvation through christ from what??
Re: Is Salvation For Everybody Or God Has Chosen Some To Be Saved? by MFMRevivalist: 12:16pm On Mar 28, 2020
According to John 3:16, Salvation is for "Whosoever" believes in Christ.

Therefore it can be "anybody" who "believes" , because God knows not "everybody" will believe. Thus you have the answer to your question.

From the effect of sin in the world. Jesus brought salvation to lsrael from their collective sin and it's effects( slavery, sickness and death).Jesus himself however was affected by the sins of the people, he was also subject to similar conditions, so lsaiah 53 says he was bruised for our iniquities. However, the good news is that all who obey his laws would be saved from their own sins in this world, and then in the world to come they would be completely saved from the collective sins of their community and the entire world.

Salvation from our sins.
Jesus came to save people from their sins by teaching them the ways of God and giving up his life as a ransom to the enemy in order to lay the foundation of a new world order through his followers.

Question....Are there people who are predestined to hell?

Answer...Everyone is predestined to hell (grave without hope of resurrection to live in God's paradise), because not only are we all humans with a temporary body, we are also weak and vulnerable to sin and it's effects. Sin is simply going against the will and commands of our creator, thereby defeating the purpose of our creation.

Question...Are there people predestined for eternal life?

Answer.. l don't know.

Question.. Who initiates salvation in a man, the man first or God.

Answer...lt has always been God first, but many people do not respond.

Question...Can one lose his salvation?

Answer...lf by this, you mean can a christian fall away from grace, then yes if we turn away to sin again and disobey God or eat our vomit, then we are in similar danger of sin and it's consequences in thesame way it pertains to the ungodly until we repent and turn away from our sins.
Re: Is Salvation For Everybody Or God Has Chosen Some To Be Saved? by Tobechuckwu(m): 1:39pm On Mar 28, 2020
God created man as a free will being. God does not enforce anything on man.
Jesus came nd died and resurrected for salvation, but it's not imposed on man.
God told Joshua in the Bible, I set before you life and death. God allowed Joshua to choose what he wants.
Salvation also is a choose, the gospel is preached to u and left for u to accept it or not. Even though holy spirit brings conviction, but he won't force salvation on u.
Romans 10 Vs 9-10. It says "If" which definitely show some people will not.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. Romans 8:29-30

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Romans 10:14-15

John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

I have used the places you got those verses you quoted to tell you that your answers are wrong, hope you understand.

God DID NOT just choose Cornelius.
God sent his servant to connect Cornelius to himself based on merit! Act 10:1-2

The bearing here is not about someone bearing your sin for you, it simply means assisting one another when the need arises. But as regards the burden of your wrongdoing, YOU WILL ANSWER FOR YOUR OWN ERROR! Galatians 6:5 smiley
