I wont advice any of them to return. During the ebola outbreak in 2014 non of the NCDC staff were paid. They were promised to be paid but as NCDC had no money as at then. They also refused to disengage the workers during the ebola crisis. Consequently, the pioneer members of staff worked for free for up to one year and were never paid. Isaac Adewole (HMH) and Chikwe (MD/DG NCDC) were appointed later on but refused to resolve the matter of payment. MOst of these pioneer staff were diasporas who had returned to nigeria to build the agency. Most of them have since returned to their base. I know one of them who returned to Denmark to practice medicine. I know another who returned to USA. Her case was even more pathetic as she had to stand at wuse market to sell her children's clothing to be able to raise money to buy a flight ticket to USa (she had dual citizenship Nigeria/USA) . She is now gainfully employed at the US Public Health Service.
They are now looking for people to use again .

Arent these senators and reps members even to the house of assembly members supposed to go to their constituents and give them some lil palliative to cushion the effect of the epidemic/pandemic situations?

A certain Minister once Boasted how Nigeria have got so many Doctors that those who want to fly out should go ahead., what was their crime? They asked for at least a commensurate reasonable pay package...what a time to be a Nigerian.

Who will pay them? Those serving civil servants are not sure of their March salary, you still want come add retired office. Except they want to do humanitarian service.

Recall 60 years and above to come do what?? When it's clear they are more vulnerable to the effect of the virus, When there are jobless younger people out there.. Who can be trained and deployed to under study and learn on the job... Hope those working have an insurance package incase of any eventuality.. At least having a 6months policy shouldn't be a bad idea
