BREAKING: Ondo Postpones April 18 LG Election Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) today postponed indefinitely the forthcoming Local Government Elections billed for April 18, 2020 in the 18 council area of the state due to ravaging Coronavirus. The Chairman of the Commission, Prof Yomi Dinakin announced this in Akure. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu led Ondo State government and the State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) to postpone with immediate effect the forthcoming Local Government Elections billed for April 18, 2020 to serve as a precautionary measure to forestall the spread of the Coronavirus in the state that has been ravaging almost the entire countries of the world.
