The Coronavirus has no doubt created anxiety among people, with the spreading of the Covid-19 around the world, people are now soaking up every information that is being shared on social media concerning the virus.

Because of this, the WHO (World Health Organization) has collaborated with facebook- owned WhatsApp to create a Coronavirus focused pandemic chatbot called "WHO health Alert"

The chatbot will answer questions about COVID-19, provide latest news on the latest infection rate, travel advice, how people can protect themselves, FAQ and tips as it relates to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Once you send the message, you will get a message showing a list of things the not can do. You can then press the appropriate number depending on the data or information you wish to get.

As at this time, WHO Heart Alert is only available in English, but there are plans to include support for other languages such as Chinese, French, Spanish, Arabic and Russian.

The WHO already have a website for sharing of latest information on Coronavirus. WhatsApp however, has an advantage because it is easily accessible to a large part of the Worlds population. WhatsApp has the potential to reach over 1.9 billion individuals and WHO can get these information directly to this people.

Facebook have also said it would release $1M grant to International Fact Checking Network (IFCN). The IFCN is a unit of poynter that helps brings fact checkers worldwide. It will help support fast fact checking on Coronavirus
