As the number of COVID-19 cases in the country surge, it has becomes of vital importance that all necessary measures be put in place to stop the spread and ensure the safety of everyone. This is why the Lagos State Waste Management Agency, LAWMA, Sunday, distributed thousands of personal protective equipment, PPE, to its sweepers and PSP Operators across the state to protect them from infection in the course of their duties. Items distributed included hand sanitizers, liquid soap, safety goggle, rubber work gloves, and re-useable nose masks, among others.
