Good day everyone.

My dad has just received an sms from 34461 asking him to confirm his address in order to benefit from the Lagos State Emergency Food Response Package. The text stated both his name and home address. Has anybody received same or can anyone confirm that this is for real? I'm scared scammers might be up to something. Thanks.

You and your dad are egungun on the express at the moment... there’s loads of covid 19 scams springing up all over the place. Confirmation is good before obliging to their request.

My parent also received the same message yesterday with our home address quoted. We are waiting for confirmation from reliable source before replying the message.
