The way be are doing this panic buying, e come be like say the world wan end.

Btw the president gave shopping malls and food industry exemption from closing during the period of the curfew.

Make una take am easy.

With ports and state borders closed it's only a matter of time before they run out of items in the store. With the massive population of Lagos and high demand people taking it easy might end up costing them in the future.

Panic buying at this time? The government is locking down all the places.
This lockdown will not work in Nigeria. People living in face me and face you and share bathrooms will not work. You cannot be locking people down without electricity and survival package. What will people eat? more people will die inside the house than the virus can kill. sooner people will start rebelling.
this is time for the government to try to pay heed to some pressing issues in the country like the basics. mosquitoes kill more than the virus. millions of people die in nigera of malaria but the government did not lock down the drainages or lagoons. the reason is that they will not die of malaria as they have access to better healthcare.

the sole reason why the government is locking down the places and building walls is because they are protecting themselves not really you.

what will you eat during this lockdown? and what will you eat after the lockdown? how will you pay your rent after the lockdown? how will the local pharmacies buy drugs to sell to you for other sicknesses? what will happen to perishables like banana and tomatoes?

lockdown begins with preparing medical equipment and health facilities for confirmed patients. a country of 200m people should have at least 1 million ventilators. but the whole of abuja two weeks ago had only 2.

NIMASA donated only 20. How are you preparing for the outbreak? People are just donating now when they had this thing in sight for a quarter of a year. the government had been bragging of being prepared, telling lies to her citizens. is this not a time for the government to start assembling all the students in virology and medicine that she has graduated. many virologist are jobless. many doctors are farmers in the country. the US is taking them away and we are insulting the US. do you think a hungry doctor will not jump at the offer?

Buhari, in his speech, said that the world is researching for a vaccine. what a lame president. he sits down in aso rock and waiting for others in foreign countries to research a drug to a virus that is killing his own people. what action is he doing to aid the people in the research? dont we have researchers?

Nigerians abroad are brainy and play a huge part in many organizations around the world. In the Caribbean, nigerian doctors are highly sourced. cos they make it happen.

this is time to build not time to lockdown. it is time for nigerians to ask questions not time to hide in fear. other countries, the malls are still open. but all our markets are closed. how will you feed when you have no light to store your soup or stew?

have an aerial view of nigerian markets and you will puke. until date nothing day change for nigeria but the price of crude.

stop saying that your politicians are trying. they are not! they are doing their job and they get paid for it. they are embezzling your money and you are being grateful. demand for your right and stop being a coward. the generations before you sat like cowards and that is why the country is that way.

buhari says that pilgrim centers and stadium will be used to camp victims of coronavirus hahaha. na wah oh. make una see wetin this man day plan for una oh.

china built a hospital in 10 days. instead of buhari to start building, he wants you to die in masse in stadiums. what happened to rehabilitation of hospitals now? what happens to construction now? he did not take Abba kyari to stadiums. rather he was flown from abuja where ventilators are lacking to lagos.

alakiya built a castle of $700m dollars in ikoyi, but donated 35m naira to save her fellow nigerians. haha. my dear. I just want to say Thank You to Tonto Dike for making a move and setting trends that no one has followed until now.

the same thing that happened to your government dividends has happened to all those donated cash.

nigerians if you see way, run comot from that country. it is hell.

After they will say they want war

Just an un-seen virus has taking over their minds, making them running helter skelter.

Later they would say Nigeria should divide

Who that hasn’t tasted war wont call for referendum.

Madam, calm down.
I don't think the supermarkets will be shut down. They provide food, especially those that carry groceries and other perishables.
I believe he just said that so majority of people residing in Lagos would be off the streets in coming days. No more business as usual, crowding the roads, food markets and supermarkets. People would only have to dash out to get things they've run out of and be back home immediately.
Police can't very well turn away a mother going to the supermarket to buy food for her children or family. You get what I'm trying to say don't you.

Africans do not need your respect to thrive. haha. sink it in your deadarse and save it there.
who are you and what respect do you have to give?
Europeans ran from all over Europe to America. did you have a problem with that?
Europeans ran from their continent to South Africa and refused to leave. They still cry over Rhodesia to date.
At what point in history were Africans ever respected? When they forcefully took them away from Africa or when they joyfully decided to leave?
Run or stay behind, you will never respect Africans. The hate is learned from childhood.
who is respected in the world, the Chinese? Or Haha, before Europe became a thing, Africans had fought wars and dominated territories.
what part of history do I teach you at this point? What is your definition of spineless?
You are on a forum created by a cretin and what does that make you?
Go and smell your sheet in your cesspit. foool

sir, If i am right banks was not mentioned in Buhari's speech as among exempted yet they are very important for people to access cash . the pharmacy opened will not sell drugs free.
I am not sure Sanwo olu mentioned banks too however i heard he encouraged electronic and online transactions.

Stop saying rubbish. Corona is more dangerous than both malaria and cancer combined. You don't know more than the medical doctors and scientists who have been ringing the alarm for months now. That was how the Spanish flu willed out over 50m people in a very short time.

If left unchecked Corona will wipe out half of the global population. With corona , no amount of precaution is enough to guarantee you won't contract it. 51 doctors have died from it in Italy alone despite wearing at least 3 layers of protective covering.
