I wake up this morning around 6am to urinate in the toilet. I live in 2 bedroom flat. As I open my room door, I saw this gigantic spider I have never see in my life on bathroom wall. Though I was scared at first sight but I summoned courage and kill the bastard with broom.

Yes. I have seen it before. I also think it's basically harmless to humans.

shocked

Honestly, your bathroom looks dirty. Very habitable for spiders and perhaps snakes. Be careful

My thoughts exactly. Such places are very attractive for vermin

You could have placed it beside a known object so we can imagine the size.

Ensure to always wash your bathroom with disinfectants and don't allow any portion to still be wet after your bath.

Those telling you the bathroom is dirty may not be wrong though I can understand everyone would love that kinda place Gen Buhari washed his hands but have to manage what we can afford.

Just keep clean and safe..

You just lost a very rare opportunity to become a spider man, should have allowed it to sting you, grin

My friend shut up go and tile your bathroom and stop saying rubbish, u should be thankful someone suggested it to you, not insisting on being dirty and unkempt.

it's not due to untiled bathroom, this kind of spiders can be found in houses built in new site area, I've seen this type of spider and killed severally in a house which is fully tiles and which I always spray the whole house with insecticide generally so it's not about dirtyness
