Why is Ghana recovery rate higher than nigeria. The total number of recovered from the disease in Ghana is 31, while Nigeria is just 9. Do they have the cure or medical capacity then us. Even though the first case in nigeria was feb 27 and ghana was much later on mar 11. still the recovery rate is way different.
Soon we are catching up with ghana, who has 195 cases and nigeria with 174.
What do you think ?

Covid 19 infection and treatment keeps baffling scientists and medics.
What we have known so far is that for some people the body immediately releases antibodies and after a week the covid 19 is dead but in some their bodies go into overdrive and some with underlying symptoms dead.

For example, the way covid 19 is different in Germany and Italy,Spain and USA.
Why?
Ghana patients may not be as asymptomatic as Nigerian patients
But both their bodies may have a healthier immune structure .
The difference may be in the retro viral drugs used.Nigeria does I think 3 rigorous test before releasing a treated patient.
Ghana has not made public how they carry out their own treatment
But if one is looking at the trend of how covid 19 operates both Nigeria and Ghana needs to start praying to God for miracles right now because the covid 19 gets to a certain and then explodes geometrical.
If our highest peak is 250 to 300 and it starts to plummets right back down
Hallelujah Glory to God in the Highest

Nigeria is try to cautious by running two test samples before a patient in discharged from the isolation center. If one is positive then you stayed longer until all is cleared before one is discharged.

You cannot compare Ghana with Nigeria, their population is much smaller. It is like comparing UK and US shocked

The sample is those who test positive so overall population doesn’t matter.

I’m fairly sure it is because Ghana has more false positives - people who mistakenly test positive

You have to consider the following factors first
1. How active is their immune system
2. Their weather conditions
3. Their genotype

Recovery rate will always vary. Different factors will affect this:

Quality of medical care

Immune system ( sometimes linked to lifestyle and diet )

Genotype etc

As long as you have below 5% death rate you are good to go.
