I doubt this man’s survival after this, first he has spoken against the governor, secondly brought police escorts into the matter detailing how they started the journey and to where it was headed for, I remember the governor giving account of this journey starting from ondò airport. ‍♂️

This man was close to the source of an explosion that levelled buildings and is still in one piece, giving us tales by daylight?

Please don't insult our intelligence, whoever you people are.
Actually, the story is feasible, they said the truck broke down and they left it there,
So it's up to the residents to confirm if there was a truck that was parked right there before the the explosion

No man would have survived that explosion of that impact that destroy buildings even 500m raduis except na terminator with iron body. Where is the car at least we should see the metal pieces Abi fire melt the iron as well. The driver, the police, the governor and those that said it was a bomb are mad. So bomb show red light in the sky before explosion. Abegi na meteorite can do such damage without much fire.

My question to you is, how did you guys out run the shock waves that destroyed those building and everything in path like over 100meters away in radius
Thank you for this question. Cos only the sound within few meters can kill taking note of those houses around that vicinity

So it's up to the residents to confirm if there was a truck that was parked right there before the the explosion

There's a video of a woman that said that she saw the truck being parked. She said that a soldier parked the truck, came down and started running. She said that she was going to tell the soldier not to park the truck at that spot, that he should move it, but that the soldier shouted at her, "No near there o! No near there!" She said that there was an explosion soon afterwards and that pieces of the truck flew to her house.

Modified. Here's a link to the video.

naptu2:
An eye witness explaining what happened during the explosion in Akure.

(I'll translate).

The person behind the camera asked her if it was the police that told her.

She said that the soldiers that drove the vehicle drove it up to a point (she pointed at the spot) then they came down and ran. A few moments later there was an explosion. Pieces of the vehicle, including the tyre, flew up to where her house is (she points at her house). She is holding some of the pieces of the vehicle that flew to her house.

Someone else asked her if the driver ran.

She emphasised that it was a soldier that drove the vehicle. She said that the soldier drove the vehicle to a point and then came down and ran.

(There's a lot of noise in the background, but I can hear her say) The soldier parked the vehicle and she wanted to go and ask him to move his vehicle, but he shouted, "Abeg no near that place o! No near that place". He was going on foot and then she heard an explosion "Gbagoom".

Buildings have foundation into the sub surface of the soil. The shock waves will impact the buildings more through it's foundation while every other thing on and above the soil will experience little impact from it.

The questions begging for an answer is
(1)who authourise the police men to escourt the said consignment? (2)who or which company are they delivering the consigment to?
(3)what are they using or going to use the explosive for? (4)did the police know the content of the consignment they are escourting?

If you look at the aerial photos. Those houses were not even captured in the pic of the epicentre. The distance from the point of impact to the first building must be over 0.5km deduced from the size of humans in the picture. That police n driver would have been torn apart except if they are terminator. Or is there body stronger than iron or blocks of that building torn apart. Why do we lie so much in this country self.

[As I was sleeping inside the truck, I heard a knock on the vehicle door by someone who informed me that smoke was coming out from under the vehicle.

#We quickly moved.

#The policeman that led the team said we should move ahead.

#As we were moving on, the policemen in the escort said that I should stop.

#As we got down, I saw fire coming out from the vehicle. We brought out fire extinguishers to put it out.

#As we were doing that, suddenly the policemen shouted that everybody should run.

#As I was running, I heard a bang and noticed something in my abdomen. That was all I knew and the next thing was that I woke up in the hospital.”

Keyboard thunder where are you?, This guy is a client that have been booked.

There is something fishy about this whole thing. For them to say it is an explosive shows something is happening, otherwise it was easier and safer to blame it on meteor that would have looked natural. I suspect they didn't think about that angle before they tried to cook up a cover up stories. Imagine the authorities are they ones saying it is an explosive while others are saying otherwise. There is something fishy happening. Something did not go as planned.

ornicus:

the vibe i am getting from this is that our for sale police men were executing PP[private practice/contract] - delivering explosives [which are restricted items] for a company they cannot name publicly.

in classic nigerian style, they opted for the cheapest vehicle they could secure. they did not adopt any safety measures whatsoever.
because it is the police, i suspect they may have also gotten rid of [towed away] the carcass of the destroyed truck as soon as possible

since we have a survivor, we will soon start to find out what happened.

below is how sane people transport explosives
but we are nigerians, where people put unsafe trucks on the road, and tell us people have to eat - you are very wicked

Ondo state government and any victims should sue the hell out of the police and the owners of the explosives.

if not for covid 19, children would be dead right now.
The Nigerian police anti-bomb squad(EOD) is probably the only professional unit in the police force... they use the best vehicles and gadgets during ops.

Light travels faster than sound. That is a bomb, and a very big one. The light you saw was from the already exploded bomb. You heard the sound after the light same way you would see the lighting before the thunder sound.
