Actually, the story is feasible, they said the truck broke down and they left it there,
So it's up to the residents to confirm if there was a truck that was parked right there before the the explosion
They said they tried fighting d fire with extinguisher before a police asked them to run

Buildings have foundation into the sub surface of the soil. The shock waves will impact the buildings more through it's foundation while every other thing on and above the soil will experience little impact from it.

Wat about the roof that was pieced. Is it also attached to the foundation? Abegi. And that woman said she saw soldier and later they say na police drive the car. Is the woman hallucinating. At 3:am the woman said she saw the soldier man. Is she a nightwatch or guiding the wall from windlings or whitewalker.?

But why all these effort just to lie?

Or maybe the guy is just telling the truth.

I know this is like going against the popular opinion here, but I think his account is believable. The two possible options are either it's a bomb/explosive or a meteorite. Eyewitness accounts points more towards it being a bomb. Also, there is no motive for Government to cover up a meteorite hit as it is purely an Act of Nature which is no fault of any Govt. On the contrary, it will be a cover up where the Govt is claiming it's a meteorite hit when it's in fact an explosion.

The driver's survival is perfectly explainable. The shockwaves generated by an explosion typically has a more devastating effect on nearby buildings and anything rooted in the soil than people within similar distance. The reason is because buildings are rigid and firmly established in the ground. They are not flexible, so to accommodate the shock waves, they crack and may even collapse. Humans can move or be thrown away by the impact of the waves which may not necessarily result in death.

The same principle applies during severe earthquakes where the loss of lives is usually from the collapsing buildings. Humans who are in open spaces during such earthquakes have a greater chance of survival than those inside buildings.

Like someone allegedly witnessed, if the truck parts were flung up to nearby houses, this is also a corroborating evidence for the truck bomb explosion

The Nigerian police anti-bomb squad(EOD) is probably the only professional unit in the police force... they use the best vehicles and gadgets during ops.

We can still remember that ‘Bomb disposal’ Mopol who was literally blown to bits handling an IED

Guys see for yourselves and come to your own conclusions between meteor crater and truck bomber crater!
The Nig police must think everyone in Nigeria is as stupid as they are, compared to Ondo crater.
Where are the truck’s pieces? How were the police able to outrun a bomb shockwaves?

From the shape on the ground it looks like a Meteorite.

On the other hand Testing a Nuke on such an open space can also make such an impact so it's hard to say.

But there was clearly no Vehicle in sight when it happened as it's clear no Mechanical debris was on sight.

There is something else going on in this country that are hidden.

Everyone should just prepare for war that's all I can say. smiley

Nigeria police try so hard to take blame in order to cover up for boko haram thinking that was a real explosion, not knowing that it was an impact from a meteor..... Shame on Nigeria police,....... Go to school them no gree, they can't even differentiate between the meteorite impact and a bomb, ............. If that was an actual bomb in the east u will see them blaming ipob, carrying out arrest before launching investigation..... One United country indeed

Re: Akure Explosion: I Didn't Know There're Explosives In My Truck, Truck Driver by Izigha(m): 4:26pm On Apr 02, 2020
The easiest explanation is usually the correct one. The only lie here will be that the driver know very well what was in the truck. This might be dynamite belonging to a mining company, because they were packed together and the direction of the blast was downwards hence the crater. The shock waves dnt level the buildings, it was just the roofs, anyone that is just away from the immediate area of the blast can survive with some injuries

According to him, on their way to Auchi, the truck developed a fault in Akure, the Ondo State capital. He said one of the police escorts advised that they should move the vehicle away from the highly populated area, when they could not rectify the fault.

If you look at the aerial photos. Those houses were not even captured in the pic of the epicentre. The distance from the point of impact to the first building must be over 0.5km deduced from the size of humans in the picture. That police n driver would have been torn apart except if they are terminator. Or is there body stronger than iron or blocks of that building torn apart. Why do we lie so much in this country self.

We lie so much because apc is in power whose foundation was built on lies.

Question

- Why no Vehicle on site in the photo

- Why no Extinguisher on site. I mean they must have dropped them while running in fear.

- Why no Mechanical debris from the Vehicle on site

No pictorial evidence has shown any truck or a single of its parts scattered anywhere around that scene...

And to think people still take that story seriously is annoying

I feel you, we have been so used to being lied to that not believing anything in the news or official statement is now the default. But sometimes we still have to put on our analytic hat. Boko haram commanders are not stupid, and if you are a commander in boko haram that want to bomb Ondo state will you bomb an empty road? What will the government gain in hiding a meteorite that hit Ondo state?

what's the used of the explosive in Edo?

how can police hire a civilian when they've trailer like the one that conveyed those policemen policing during elections?

you see all this dumb analysis is just scary, the more these bunch of animals tried to defend that attacks in Ondo state, the more scary it read in my heart

what happened in Ondo state that day wasn't explosive gibberish, it was an attack and southwest Governors must go back to their drawing book to prevent this evil occurrence from the planner
