Kogi state Governor Yahaya Bello has given an immediate ordered to investigate the allegations of rape and physical assault leveled against his Commissioner for Water Resources, Abdulmumini Danga.

Recall that Elizabeth Oyeniyi, a resident of the state, came out to accuse Mr Danga of physically and sexually assaulting her over a facebook post she made about him on her page on March 29th. Read here



In a statement released in Lokoja, the state Commissioner for information and communication, Kingsley Fanwo, said the governor has mandated that an investigation be carried out to ensure justice is served.
