We wrote this poem to reflect how important trust is in the world today. THE WORDS I want to sail the seven seas with you by my side And watch the waves and tides together as they collide You’ll be my bride And I’ll be your guide and together we’ll have a long sea voyage along the seaside My heart longs for a soul like yours In a tall perfect being as yours Like the flesh of a cat clings to its fur We’ll grow into a family of four And ride into the deepest part of your lures I gave you my all My everything, heart, body, soul, Pauline But you let everything fall Like a meatball on a smooth wall Like a drunkard in the gutter intoxicated with alcohol Nature despise our feelings Even in evening tide cool breeze Whilst we walk together hands in hands like sheep Yet your heart was far away like an eel From our proposed love like a sea Forgive my manners, is there no trust in this world?
